There used to be a time when all you could do with a book was to read it, and then in 1931, the United States Congress established a"talking-book"program aimed at the visually handicapped. This "talking-book" soon trickled down to the consumer market, where it becomes the audio books of today. E-books were launched soon after, allowing users to read books from the computers and mobile devices.

wIzOpediaTM aims to do what the laptop did for the typewriter, which is to further enhance the everyday user experience. By combining narration, sound effects, stunning 3D visualization and intuitive interaction the user can now see their subject matter come into life. Instead of being just an audience, the user can also interact with the subject matter.

Bringing together audio, visual and kinesthetic approaches summarizes what wIzOpedia is all about: extending the users' attention span, and a whole new level of learning.

MXR Corporation has a dedicated team of engineers, graphical designers and content development consultants that helps schools and educational institutes in the development of Mixed Reality content for wIzOpedia. Why not drop us a mail and find out how you or your school can contribute to a revolution in learning?
